expect game race run stretch time top tougher
That was the first time she was really able to stretch her legs. This race will be much, much tougher but, at this point, she's on top of her game and I expect her to run a big race.
aggressive expected hopefully next race run training
He hasn't done what I expected of him. I've been training him in blinkers. Hopefully that will get him more aggressive. I won't run him in blinkers, but I will in the next race if I don't see him more aggressive this time.
maybe might people perhaps ride struggle
Perhaps I've done a little better than a lot of people expected, maybe they thought I might struggle a bit, but I just wanted to get out there and ride winners.
good honest race ran sure wide
I think this is as good a race as she could have ever run, as much as she had to do, go wide and give way all that space. To be honest with you, I wasn't sure she was going to get up. This is fantastic, to have a mare like this. If she never ran again, this would be perfect.

I don't want to be in the one hole or the 13 hole because you have to do things you don't want to do.
She's pretty young. She hasn't had that many starts.

(Menino) was outstanding. He held them off pretty good in this game to keep it close for awhile.

I look for her to move forward off that race. She bled real bad at Calder.

It's magic getting back on top. I was always coming back, I love my racing and it's a dream to win at my first ride back.

experience great kids tournament
It's a great experience for these kids to play in a tournament like this every year.
looks sprinter tape totally
They're totally different. Ticker Tape looks more like a sprinter type. This filly is a big, rangy filly with a big, long stride.
concerned david eighth kicked opened pole sure
I was a little concerned we'd get trapped. They all kind of kicked away at the three-eighths pole, and David said that opened it up. I wasn't sure if she'd get them, but at the eighth pole I was more assured.
good overall run winner
I think the winner is pretty good and overall my bloke's run was good and I think he'll run a trip.
