James A. Calhoun is the former head coach of the University of Connecticut men's basketball team. I feel so good, (even) with my own sadness. I can only imagine, and probably better than most, the feeling they must have in that locker room and on that campus. When you watch Roy play, you're watching, really, from a coaching standpoint, everything you want a player to be. He can pull up and make mid-range shots. He can pass the ball. He can rebound. He plays with great composure. He seems to want the ball in tough situations.

I have to give a special star to Denham. With Rudy (Gay) out the last three days (groin), Denham has been our special player. I told him he's put money in the bank - all the work ethic, all the things he's doing, he's got some chits with me now. Just all over the place, running as hard as I've ever seen him, making shots that I didn't see him make before, handling better, passing better - I'm exceptionally happy with him.
