ball call heart inside points seven shown turned
We turned the ball over 26 times yet I think our heart was shown on enough occasions. When you're down 10 points or down seven points with something to go, you need to call upon the reserves. There's something inside you that won't let you lose.
calls eight emotions exciting former high kids phone players recruit school start straight team time won
I can feel the emotions start to build, ... I've had conversations with my first recruit at Northeastern, with eight kids from my Dedham High School team that won 21 straight games, a lot of phone calls from my former players ... it's an exciting time for me.
band call defense middle next people playing plays season time wonderful
If we're not playing defense and I call time out, I can tell you right now it's going to be X-rated. I'll go after some people or make some changes. It's not like this is the middle of the season and we can get it done next time. We're all here and it's a perilous journey. It's a wonderful journey, but the band plays on if you lose.
engine shut sleep
We just shut the engine off. You can't go to sleep.
engine happen hard seen shut sports team
We just shut the engine off. We just couldn't get it back. It's a hard thing to do in sports and I think all of us have seen it and unfortunately an experienced team like this, it shouldn't happen to.
absolutely american-coach basketball living meant next season
We weren't prepared. We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing because you have to play the next one.
absolutely lead living meant ounce season took
We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing. We took a 15-8 lead and from then, didn't play an ounce of basketball.
absolutely living meant season
We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing. We never were much of a factor.
ourselves
We shrunk ourselves down to make ourselves better.
ahead came character game run speaks standing took
We got out ahead and they just took over the game as we started standing around. But we came back with that run which really speaks to the character of this team.
both change rotation run start
The rotation won't change all that much. But I do want to start both kids. I think we'll be able to run better.
difficult given guys kids situation talked
I've talked to the kids about the difficult situation they've given me, in the sense I think all of our guys can play.
along basketball bit career exactly five grow hopefully kids maintain miss obviously optimism six skin spit telling terrific wants watched weeks win
I've watched him grow as a person, but he's still been able to maintain his wit, his optimism and that ever-ready smile. A lot of kids would have spit the bit at different times if they weren't starting. All he wants to really do is play and win and that's exactly what he's done. He's as comfortable in his skin as any kid I've ever had. I'm telling you right now ? and hopefully it will be five weeks, six weeks before it's the end of his career ? I will miss him for his personality, along with obviously his basketball game. He's a terrific kid.
affront best country guards point took
I've said Marcus, in my opinion, is the best passer that I've ever coached. I think he took affront to that. Now he's scoring. There aren't many better point guards in the country than him.
