hang increase maybe might months seem tough
We were a little sloppy, but they had a lot to do with that. Maybe two months ago we might not have been tough enough to hang on and increase that lead. We seem to be getting tougher.
blizzard impressed second team
We were a blizzard inside, too, in that second half. I'm not usually impressed by my team much. But we were really good.
catch limit shape starting
We were able to limit his minutes, which I think is very important. But secondly, I think his shape is, in many ways, starting to catch up.
week weekend
We don't know what this week and, hopefully, weekend is going to bring.
against days enthusiasm environment extra great home hostile means paid playing shot straight three week win worked
We worked on the 1-3-1 for three straight days this week and it paid off. It means a little something extra to go home with a win against such a great team. The enthusiasm of each shot is big when playing in such a hostile environment as we were today.
days paid straight three worked
We worked on the 1-3-1 for three straight days this week, and it paid off.
basketball became greatest kicked opportunity saw season start terrific weighed window wore
We became a terrific basketball team. We have had some times when the expectations weighed heavily upon us. As the season wore down, we saw our window of opportunity start to become more limited. The greatest thing we did was we kicked the window out and we made the opportunity for ourselves.
adrenaline needed shot
We dodged a bullet. We had new life. We needed an adrenaline shot and we got it.
affront along best games guards point took
I've said all along that Marcus is the best passer I've ever coached. I think he took affront to that, because he had back-to-back 20-point games (in the tournament). There aren't many better point guards in the country.
blamed game mistake turned worst
It was the worst mistake he ever made. That was the game we were down by 25 and I turned to him every play and blamed him on it.
absolutely great played tip
It was tough, Albany just played great basketball. My hat, my gloves, my shoes, I'm going to tip all of them to them, because they were absolutely terrific.
against change good half night pressed second time
The second half would have been a good night to play against anybody. Every time you made a change ... You pressed us? We dunked it. You zoned us? We 3-pointed it.
ability basketball believe boston games happened limit nba sudden throw uniform vision watch watching
The sky's the limit with his ability and his vision of the game. I watch some of those NBA games and I happened to be watching Boston down the stretch, and I said, 'You throw him in that uniform and all of a sudden they'll be a different basketball team.' I believe that much in him.
automatic lousy team
The team really has been automatic every day in practice. We've only had one lousy practice.
