best monday playing quick rest time turnaround wednesday
It's a quick turnaround for us playing on Wednesday (against Idaho). It's not the best situation, but fortunately Monday is a holiday, so we'll have time to rest up and get ready.
dwell last percent practice saturday
We did not dwell on it. We're 80 percent in practice. I think last Saturday was just one of those games.

We didn't want to dig our hole any deeper. We don't want to be eight or nine and have to play in the play-in game for the tournament. The only way we're going to avoid that is to get some wins.

When we attacked their pressure we were fine. But 75 percent of the game, we let their press bother us. When we played around with their press, we got into our scoring area with 10 or 12 seconds left (on the 30-second shot clock) and we had to rush a shot.

When we get the ball, we're not as efficient because we're tired and often take the first shot. We're playing into our opponents' hands.

Those were two big issues. We weren't in the right spots at the right time and that helped their defense. We need to use both sides of the floor and hopefully take advantage of a defensive lapse. This has happened before. We'll keep working on it.

Pam rebounds for us, and I think with this adjustment we're putting her in a better position to score because she can step out beyond the arc. It gives her more flexibility.

Our priorities for our program are your family comes first, school comes second and basketball's after that somewhere. This is a situation where she just needed to be back home for a little while and we did that.

They're very talented. They basically took us apart when we played them up at their place. They completely took us out of our game in the first 5 minutes of the game up there. We just can't let that happen again, especially at home.

A lot of our shots weren't even close (in the second half) ? we had a couple of air balls. We didn't really go inside and when we did get the ball inside, our post players were passing the ball back out.
