We had some chances, and we had some pretty good at-bats, but we had nothing to show for it. We just didn't get a big hit when we needed it.

Felipe is going to hit. You won't see anybody up there red-hot all the time. He's a very good hitter from both sides of the plate.

Right now, we'll just really go slow with him, make sure he's healthy and don't overuse him.

I think everybody in baseball knows he's a good player. Playing in Tampa Bay like he did and then going to Seattle ... when you play in the same outfield with Ichiro (Suzuki), you're not going to be top dog, that's for sure.

I don't care what park you pitch in, I expect you to get guys out. I think if you lower your expectations, you'll have guys happy to give up some runs sometimes. I just believe in wherever you're pitching, you go out there and try not give up a run. If you give up a run, you try not give up two.

Milton did an outstanding job for us. We had the one big inning when we capitalized on their wildness.

Maybe Austin Kearns, Rich Aurilia, I don't know, maybe Felipe Lopez, too, might get some rest. Depends on what pitchers we face, too.

There have been times we haven't used Randy Keisler because he's our long guy. This might free up Keisler for a hitter or two early in the game.
