alternate heart job lost matches monkey nice overtime points ryan scoring state
Ryan did a nice job scoring points for us. He got the monkey off his back by qualifying. He was a state alternate at South, so for him to get down there was a big deal. Ryan wrestled his heart out. The two matches he lost in overtime were heartbreakers. He was one match away from placing.
city good graduated grove last match relatively seniors
Grove City is good. It will be a battle. They match up with us relatively well. They graduated a lot of seniors last year, but it will be a good match.
ahead almost blink came double match shot smart stayed took
Barlow's match was tremendous. He came out and shot a double and almost took him to his back in the first 10 seconds. It was 4-0 after a blink of the eye. Brendan wrestled a smart match. He got ahead and stayed ahead.

Brendan wrestled smart in the first couple of periods, but when he broke him down and broke him flat and got that tilt, we thought it was going to be 3-0. And as soon as we thought that, it was over.

Brendan wrestled (Nicholson) a pretty athletic and pretty strong heavyweight from Marion-Franklin.
freshmen program schedule small three wrestling
Brendan has always been a heavyweight, but he was a small heavyweight. We started the program with freshmen and sophomores, with no upperclassmen and we were going out and wrestling a varsity schedule. We've been wrestling a varsity schedule for three seasons.

Ryan came through. He wrestled an exceptional tournament.

Ryan came out on a mission. I thought he wrestled a little flat at sectional, and obviously this week he didn't wrestle flat. He had something to prove.
bad finish head hit injury shoulder time took
I thought his shoulder hit first, but they said his head hit first. They took all of the injury time and they said his head injury was so bad that he couldn't finish the match.
district four last nine three took year
Last year we took nine to district and got only one to state, so right now I'd like to take at least one, but I think we can get three or four out.
happen rather undefeated
Legg and Barlow aren't undefeated anymore. I'd rather have it happen now than in two weeks.
district focused grove guys ready state
We have to come back, get better, get ready and get focused for Grove City, and sectional, district and state and see how many guys we can get out.
kids tough
It's going to be a tough, tough league. I think our kids can battle.
