bowl came dream glad good knew super worked
It's a dream come true. I came back because I knew we had a good team, and I knew the Super Bowl was in my backyard. I'm glad everything worked out.
heck work
It's a work in progress. But it's a heck of a start.
depends figured football television work
I really don't have it figured out yet. I want to do some television work but it depends on what opportunities are there, football related. Right now everything is an option.
depends early happens role understand works
Hopefully, I'll get in early and see what happens but, as a role player, you have to understand that the opportunities may be there and may not be there, ... It depends on how it works out.
cloud darkest dust game guy hard people positive relate swing three trying work yards
I think it's been my work ethic. I've just been a hard worker, a guy that's always trying to be positive and put a positive swing on things sometimes even in the darkest moments. And I think people can relate to that being a blue-collar guy. My game is a blue-collar game. Three yards and a cloud of dust and get up and do it again. That's the way in the Midwest, especially Detroit, which is a very, very blue-collar town. I think people relate to that, as well as Pittsburgh.
book guess mean paid supposed
In my book (he has), but guess what? My book don't mean much, ... I don't know. That's why you have to defer to the big fella, who's supposed to make those decisions. I don't get paid to make those decisions.
dream enjoying living
I'm living a dream right now. I am enjoying retirement.
Everyone in this organization wanted to get this one for you all.
everybody locker role special
Everybody is unselfish. Everyone understands they have a role. If their role is expanded, that's great. If it's reduced, that's understood. I think that what is so special about this locker room. There are no 'Me and I' guys. It's all about the team.
beat believe everybody felt guys locker room supposed
Everybody is supposed to beat us. We really jelled and felt that we could get it done. Only the guys in the locker room believe that, and that was enough.
beating body bounce physically strong taken
The body doesn't bounce back like it once did, ... The beating has taken its toll, so physically you don't feel as strong as you used to.
beat confidence defending football losing team watched
They just beat the defending champs and, conversely, they watched the film of us losing to that same football team. So they're going to have a lot of confidence saying, 'We just smacked around the team that just beat this team.' You've got to think they'll have some confidence.
matter time
It was just a matter of time before we got it going.
against best england played turned week
There was a possibility I could have played against New England, but we had a bye week after that, and they wanted to give me another two weeks. It turned out to be the best call.
