believed disrespect football knew people played portrayed sixth team
We never played the disrespect angle. We knew what it was. It wasn't disrespect. It was us being the sixth seed, so it wasn't disrespect. No one believed we could do it but us. We didn't feel disrespected, we just knew we were a better football team than people portrayed us to be.
circumstance game latter playoff point ready turned understanding
We had different circumstances. At 7-5, understanding that every game at that point is going to be a playoff game got us battle-tested, ready for the playoffs, a lot earlier, because we turned it on in the latter part of the season. We were in playoff mode.
good home problem
The alternative to all this is that I could be at home watching, and for a lot of years I have been watching. So this is a good problem to have.
believed bring home time
Here we go, Pittsburgh! We set out a long time ago to bring this back home to Pittsburgh. You all believed in us, believed we could get it done. This is ours, but this is also yours. Every one of you.

From last year to this year, he's a different quarterback. He's definitely our leader.
feet football last manage needs plays throwing understanding year
From last year to this year, he's a different quarterback. He has an understanding of what he needs to do to manage the football team. The plays he makes with his feet and throwing the ball is amazing.
football gods hollywood incredible light script sent somebody turn
I don't think you could have scripted it any better. I think the script right now, if somebody sent it to Hollywood they would turn it down because they would say it couldn't happen. It's been an incredible ride. The football gods have really shined the light on me.
closer game lying opportunity step takes
I'd be lying to you if I said it was complete. Having an opportunity to play in this game takes me one step closer to it being complete.
game looking tough
But it's going to be a tough game at Denver. We're not looking at Detroit, we're looking at Denver.
ben charlie running team throw whether
But that's nothing new. We're going to be a running team whether it's Ben or Tommy or Charlie at quarterback. And we'll still throw the football, too.
definitely
If they play well, we win. If they don't play well, we're not going to have much success. They are definitely our backbone.
