It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.

It's a dream come true. I came back because I knew we had a good team, and I knew the Super Bowl was in my backyard. I'm glad everything worked out.

It's all over. There aren't any games left.
home last reality
The reality is it could be my last. So, the way I look at it, I'm approaching it as if is the last home game.
believe guys imagine last until
When I did that, it was like 'I can't believe I did this'. I didn't think about it until the guys said, 'Can you imagine this being your last one?' I was like, 'Yeah, that would have been bad'.
believed bring city happy home thankful time
We set out a long time ago to bring this back home to Pittsburgh. You all believed in us, believed we could get it done. I'm just so thankful for everything that this city has been able to give me. I'm just so happy we were able to give this city the one for the thumb.
bearing career full last opportunity outcome people saw start
The outcome will have a bearing on my decision. If it is my last game, all the people that saw me start my career get an opportunity to see me end it. My career will have come full circle.
guy regular
With Mr. Rooney, you feel as if you're part of his family. He's just a regular guy who makes you feel really comfortable around him.
camp create everybody football game hardest last level pieces played question
We know we have the pieces in place, ... That's evident. You look at last year, with us being a game away. So we know that. The question going into this camp is can we create that same chemistry? Can everybody play at that same level that we played last year? Can we be that same football team? In this business, that's the hardest thing to do.
definitely encourage last lead matter matters situation teammates whenever
Whenever you go into a situation where it could be your last play, there's a sense of desperation. I definitely feel it, and I try to encourage my teammates and lead by example. It doesn't matter how we do it, all that matters is we get it done.
consistent reflect year
We are a tough-minded, physical, hard-nosed team, and I think we reflect our coach's character. That's why we're consistent year in and year out.
afford knew
We knew what this was all about, and we couldn't afford to lose. You still got to go through us.
