positive stay
We're going to stay positive and not let nothing get us down,
deal gotten last races realize win work
We know how to get into the Chase. It's a whole different deal after you've gotten in to win the championship in the last 10 races than it is in the first 26. We've got some work to do, and we realize that.
bad car chase five good handling last news top
Well, the good news is that we started the Chase out better than we did last year, ... The bad news is that we battled the car all day long. We just couldn't get the handling right. We really wanted to come out of here with a top five or a top ten, but at least we didn't come out with a DNF.
add chase guys laps leading noticed points staying trying
You see it every week. Guys are staying out (on cautions) and leading laps and stuff, trying to get all the points you can if you're in the Chase or not. I've noticed it every week, and it will all add up at the end.
coach major
Coach Sampson was a major, major, major part of me signing.
accept chase consistent drivers fans good lucky miss nascar teams
I think fans of those drivers just have to accept the idea that their teams just haven't been very good, very consistent or very lucky this year. It can happen. With only 10 qualifiers, good teams are going to miss the Chase every year. NASCAR will survive.
but he did it and it was uncalled for.
bit call change gets needs race somebody track whoever
If somebody gets hurt, then whoever made the call to change the race track needs to feel a little bit responsible.
If you don't want to be somewhere, you don't want to be there,
top trying
If you're not careful, this thing can get to you, trying to get in the top 10 for the chase.
addition great races team
He races to win. He's been a great addition to our team this year.
easily finish great looking maybe played toward win
If everything would have played out right, we would have had a top-five finish or maybe even a win the way it was looking toward the end of the race, ... It easily could have been a great day for us, but we're going to take 16th and not look back.
exactly happen problem problems sure team wild
I'm not sure exactly what the problem was. It was pretty wild because we never have problems like this, but it's going to happen every once in awhile. This team will keep digging.
hard lap laying run win
You've got to go out every lap and get all you can. There's no laying back, no being cautious, no being safe. You've got to run hard every week. If you're going to win the championship, you've got to run up front.
