I probably left the pitcher in a little too long, and they were able to get on him. This was our third game in three days, and I really didn't know who to pitch when he got in trouble.

It was just a little mental lapse. It took our pitcher a little while to get going, and I hate to see him lose one like that.
best drew finally knew lead runs score stuff teams three
I knew once we got the lead with Drew out there, we kind of had a shot. We finally got some runs for Babcock on the hill. You know that most teams aren't going to score more than two or three on Drew when he's out there, if he's on. He didn't really have his best stuff today.
eventually hoping kid knew stay wake
I knew the McCarty kid would stay strong. I knew he wouldn't get very tired, but I was hoping we would eventually wake up with the bats.
