It's a big win for us, especially with the youth that we've got. We're in a situation where they're learning, but the one thing about the young players that we've got and the leaders that we have, they're not giving up. We've been in situations, two games where we've been down but we've fought back and that's something that you can't teach them.

In the past, we're a team that as we go, we've been in situations where we've played big but we've also been in situations where when it's tight, we kinda fold. But tonight we held it together and that led us into the last inning where we were able to hold them.

I?d like to take back that first inning because we had an opportunity on the bunt to get her at first and missed that and a couple others. We gave them some runs, but I think we held our own.

This was a big game for us. We went through some changes in the lineup, and we practiced real hard. It really worked out for us.

That's a huge victory. We're a team that's went through all season with change-ups in the lineup due to illness or disciplinary reasons, and I think that's made us strong because we've been able to play with people being able to take over those positions.

I didn't think we came in mentally prepared. We came off a win against Elkins with some momentum and we should have taken advantage of that.
