I learned that it will be fun if it's all like this.
But, you know, I just want to play well and have fun playing well.
I'm just happy to be playing and to have the results I've had. If nothing ever happened from here on, I still feel I've had a noteworthy career.
Believe me, I've had things go against me many times, plenty of times. I deserve to get a call once in a while. One point, I don't think, changed the match.
There's no timetable right now. I can't say one way or the other, but I'm not retired by all means.
Other matches against her have been like this. I've led 5-1 or 5-2 and then let it slip away. Today I just tried to stay concentrated to the end and not get negative.
She started playing better in the second set, playing like she had nothing to lose, ... I had to stay in there and stick it out.
It's tough to focus in these conditions. I just hope we don't have to wait all day.
This is the hardest thing I've ever done. The rehab has not gone as expected.
I didn't even, like, look at it. It was close. I was just going to do what the umpire said,
I think the little difference was that she made a few more mistakes than usual and starting playing better too late in the match,
You know, I'm confident before I go out and play a match that I know, you know, I've put in the work and like I feel confident that I am going to go out there and play well.
I was an emotional basket case.
I had an instinct before and maybe now I don't have that instinct as much as knowing what to do, what shots to hit, where to place the ball, things like that.
