We had the highest scoring regional, but there is a lot that goes into that. Each region had different judges that score differently. I definitely think scores will be lower at the finals, and that there will be a number of teams in contention.

We have been able to work all week on the mats that will be used Saturday, and we have been able to visualize the experience. I think that is definitely an advantage.

We feel confident. We have the experience from last year to work with. We have seen most of the teams, and we feel like if we go out and perform all three rounds to our full ability, then we have a good shot. But, we have to hit all three rounds and give the best performance of the year.

We came out with a goal to have three great rounds and not worry about what other people do, just worry about what we do. Thankfully we put out three great rounds and managed to win today.
anxious best beyond finals girls meet stressful week winning
Anything beyond this week is just a bonus. You have to get to the finals before you can think about winning them. This week has been very stressful and the girls are just anxious to go out and compete. We just have to take things one meet at a time, and go out and give our best effort.
class control focus good hardest hope regional scores talent
In my opinion, this is the hardest regional in Class B. There is a lot of talent in this regional, but all we can do is focus on what we can control and that is our performance. All we can do is go out and do our best, and hope our scores are good enough.
