great period played terrible
We played great the first period and terrible the second.
came deserved saying surprise
After we got down 4-1, I was saying to myself, it wouldn't surprise me if we came back and won. Not that we deserved it at times, but it's just like all year, they find ways.
gotten hope last minutes saved second three
The last three minutes of the second saved our bacon. Had we not gotten those, we would have had no hope going into the third.
college matter players trades trying
I'm not going after any college guys, I'm not trying to make any trades for players because I think we have the right chemistry. In the end, (it's just a matter of) do we get it done or not?
harder knew playing
I knew once they scored that one, they were going to really come. They started playing harder and we started getting a little tentative.
forward league looking stick teams three top
It's what this organization has been looking forward to. They're the measuring stick of this league. They've been one of the top three teams in the league since, really, their inception.
both excelled great regular teams time wants
It's going to be a great series. Both teams excelled during the regular season. Now, it's time to find out which wants it the most.
great
They've all been really great here. Atlanta, I can't even tell you what a great organization they are.
bump depth guys hit team won
Our depth has been big. This team won with a lot of the guys out of the lineup. We won when we were short-handed and we never hit a bump in the road.
period second stepped third took
First period we took it to them. Second period they took it to us. And the third period, we stepped it up at home.
best camp jeff players stuck surprised training versatile
He's one of the best all around players I've ever had. Jeff (Campbell) is very versatile and can play any position. He's going to Manitoba's training camp and I wouldn't be surprised if he stuck at the AHL level.
