I don't know a lot about them. I know they're a good team. But I think we match up OK. They have quick guards and press you. They beat Lisle and Lisle beat us twice. They beat Wheaton St. Francis (de Sales) by 13 and we beat St. Francis by 18.

Reed-Custer left its nerves in the locker room, we brought ours with us. We did a good job sticking with it and kept gutting, gutting and gutting it out.

One of the girls' goals was to get a sectional plaque. We had never done it. They accomplished that. They realize they're only one game away from the promised land. It's huge.

When (Brantley) got hurt that gave us an opportunity to really work the inside game. Once we did that, we were able to hit some outside shot and that really got things going for us.

We got it and got what we wanted to do. We did something that's never been done and set a little history tonight. We're going to keep going. We can only worry about our team and how we play and go from there.
eight great job kids pick team win
It was an Interstate Eight battle. We could play each other 10 times and each team would probably win five. This was a great team effort, you can pick out any one of those kids - they all did a great job this year.
girls great night senior
It was a great senior night for our girls.

As a freshman, Humbert qualified for the state (Three-point Showdown). She's always working on her game and she will only get better. You can bet she turned some heads against Walther Lutheran.
bit eyes fever fourth girls
You could tell the difference. When she got that fourth foul, you could see immediately the look in our girls' eyes ... there was a little bit more of a fever to them.
