Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. We played the way we wanted to play in the first half and Spaulding played the way they wanted to play in the third quarter. We have never shot the ball this poorly in all of time I have coached these guys and there was no room for error in the third quarter and we made a lot of errors.

If a team plays a zone it doesn't make a lot of sense to attack it if they are the one seed and you are the ninth seed. We just wanted to keep the game close as long as possible. If they played man we would have attacked it. But I wouldn't be doing my job if I let my team attack the best team in the state.

That is an issue that we (school administrators) need to stay on top of and make sure that our students and adults who attend our games do not make personal comments to players, coaches and officials. It is something we're definitely aware of.
