I've seen games that are stupid and dumb and sloppy a lot of penalties and you get your (butt) kicked,
We didn't make the playoffs. We definitely did a better job this year, but we still didn't make the playoffs.
At this point, I want to be good enough (at linebacker) to win games.
Don't get me wrong, we haven't proven anything yet. We won a game, big deal.
You do one early in the year and everyone's going to do it to you until you put the fire out. It's my responsibility to put the fire out, not only for myself but everybody else. Maybe if I stop committing penalties, than everybody else will stop.
We did a decent job of keeping them off balance,
There's one voice here. There's one person out front, and that's Nick, and everything goes through him. Not everybody likes it, but that's the way he runs his ship.
We have a lot of respect for him. He's a very good talent. He can run. He's quick. He's powerful. He has great vision. If we can't stop him, it's going to be a long day.
Who knows what the face of this team is going to look like next year? Winning six in a row ending in December isn't going to do a thing for you come next September. A lot of stuff happens.
We have people out in the middle of nowhere come here and are on death's doorstep.
I think this will be a good gage to see where we are. We need to go out there and perform well.
We haven't done anything yet. We won one game. Big deal.
The pressures in college will be a little less than they were in the NFL. I think it will work out for him.
Those are things we have to fix. We cannot give up opportunities.
