We were so close against Auburn and Smiths Station and didn't get the win. Tonight we were finally able to sniff out a win and get it against a very good Central team. Hopefully that will carry over through (spring break) and get us going in the right direction.

Our staff did a good job of getting ahead in the count with many of their hitters. They are a great hitting ball club. Benton did an exceptional job for us.

There's certain things you have to do to win a big game. We didn't do the little things. We controlled our own destiny, but let it get away.

Parrish pitched very good for us. He followed our game plan, which was to throw strikes and make them put it in play.

The kids are playing with a lot of confidence right now. They are hitting the ball at a good time and we are getting good pitching performances.

He came in and was able to locate his pitches and we made the plays behind him. He had pinpoint accuracy.
