It's a lot different. A lot harder under Coach Meyer. He's a straightforward guy. If he wants you to do something, you'd better do it. He's a guy who is going to put you in your place. He's a guy you don't mind doing it for because if you do right by him, he will do right by you.
gossip receiver tight wondered
We're just like the media. We gossip about things, and we always wondered what kind of receiver or tight end he would be. He's been great.
came cheering crutches hurt played snapped tunnel
When he got hurt, I was devastated. I played in a daze for awhile. But when he came out of the tunnel on crutches and started cheering for us, it snapped me out of it. That's how much he means.

We've always been known as a soft program, a finesse program -- all about speed, whatever. We're just trying to go out and show everybody this isn't the Gators that you're used to looking at. We're trying to show them that we're really tough and that we're really going to go out and play.

It hurt us earlier in the season. Later this season guys started getting rid of the (selfish) attitude and started fighting for each other.

Parents play a big role and they don't want their child to come into an unstable situation and unstable program.

A lot of guys were in way before curfew. There were only a handful of guys out, and they were in 30 minutes before curfew.

A lot of guys are in this week way before curfew. Everybody is getting their rest. They are hydrated. They are ready to go.

This is what we've been waiting for. We've been through so many ups and downs.

Kelly is a great tester. He always has been. Combines are made for players like him.

It cost us a couple games early, but then guys started fighting for each other. We could have had a lot better season.
foot hungry people practice since stepped
He's been hungry since he first stepped foot here. He's a playmaker. You just look at some people and say, 'Hey, this guy's going to be a playmaker.' Just by practice you can tell. He's doing the same thing (in games).
dream dwell offense player time wonder
Any time you take a big player out of your offense and two out of your defense, you wonder and dream how much better you could have been. But we're not going to dwell on it.
deserve felt game guys happen knew playing remember whipped
I just remember they whipped our behinds. I knew it was going to happen before the game even started. I think most guys did, too. A lot of guys didn't care. They thought, 'Oh, we're just playing Iowa.' It felt like they didn't deserve to be here anyway.
