five hope next pick threw throw time
Things like that happen. I hope next time I can pick them up. I threw bad. It's still going to take time to throw every five days, strength-wise. You keep battling, you keep working.
definitely throwing totally
I'm still working to feel totally comfortable with it. But it's definitely better than what I was throwing before.
ball gotten hit hopefully next throw worst
It's a pitcher's worst nightmare; to throw a ball and the next thing you know, it's right on you, ... I could have gotten hit in the face, so hopefully this will be all right.
ball next throw worst
It's a pitcher's worst nightmare, ... To throw a ball and the next thing you know, it's right on you.
care chief holds keeps takes throwing
He just takes care of you, ... You're down there every day. If you're tight, he loosens you up. He keeps your throwing program. He holds everything together. He's like the chief down there.
affects ball bruise hit max maybe neck throw tight
I'm not sure, ... When you throw a ball in a game, it's pretty much max effort. When you have a bruise or something tight it affects you a lot more than maybe if you were hit in the neck or something.
absolute ball bowling came catch everybody far heaviest played playing teach throws valuable
He came down to Tampa, and we started playing catch, and he had the heaviest ball that I've ever played catch with, as far as sinkers, ... If you could teach everyone what you need to make a ball that heavy, then everybody would do it. That's such a valuable pitch, and he throws an absolute bowling ball.
drill firing hard knows maybe seen
I've never seen that drill before. Maybe if that didn't happen, who knows if we would have had it or not. As long as it's not the hard baseballs they're firing at you.
care fit focus pitch spot taken thinking tried worry
I've never tried to worry about where I fit in or where my spot is. When it comes down to it, you have to do what you have to do anyway. You have to pitch well and take care of your own business, and hopefully, you fit in somewhere. Thinking about the other stuff, for me, has always taken away from my focus on what I have to do.
fifth
You do what you can, being the fifth guy.
driving following force games help knowing team three watching work
To be down there for over three months, watching the games and following everything going on, your driving force is to get back and help the team get to the postseason, ... Doing this tonight, knowing the work I put in, it's great.
calling sick
There's no calling in sick now, ... You've got to get out there.
choice love wants whatever
That's the manager's choice, whatever he wants to do. I would love to start, but we'll just have to see what happens.
choice fine thinks whatever work
That's the manager's choice. Whatever he thinks is going to work out best, that's fine with me.
