ball front hit
When you get hit like that, the only thing you see is the ball right in front of your chin,
expected hit neck next
It's what I expected after getting hit in the neck with a ball. It's sore. It's stiff. ... If there's any way to make my next start, I'll make it.
ball bat corner hit last move saw seattle step took toward tried
The ball was hit to first base, so I took a step toward there, ... and then out of the corner of my eye, I saw the bat and it was kind of like the Seattle thing, at the last second, and I just kind of tried to move away.
ball base corner eye hit moved saw step took
The ball was hit to first base so I took a step over there. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the bat. I just kind of moved and got hit right on the back of the elbow.
ball gotten hit hopefully next throw worst
It's a pitcher's worst nightmare; to throw a ball and the next thing you know, it's right on you, ... I could have gotten hit in the face, so hopefully this will be all right.
hit threw
It hit me in the back of the elbow, ... I threw some pitches, but it just didn't feel right, so we'll see tomorrow.
above hit pitchers
Pitchers don't get hit that often, especially above the chest,
affects ball bruise hit max maybe neck throw tight
I'm not sure, ... When you throw a ball in a game, it's pretty much max effort. When you have a bruise or something tight it affects you a lot more than maybe if you were hit in the neck or something.
anybody hit time trying
I'm not trying to hit anybody first time out.
drill firing hard knows maybe seen
I've never seen that drill before. Maybe if that didn't happen, who knows if we would have had it or not. As long as it's not the hard baseballs they're firing at you.
care fit focus pitch spot taken thinking tried worry
I've never tried to worry about where I fit in or where my spot is. When it comes down to it, you have to do what you have to do anyway. You have to pitch well and take care of your own business, and hopefully, you fit in somewhere. Thinking about the other stuff, for me, has always taken away from my focus on what I have to do.
five hope next pick threw throw time
Things like that happen. I hope next time I can pick them up. I threw bad. It's still going to take time to throw every five days, strength-wise. You keep battling, you keep working.
fifth
You do what you can, being the fifth guy.
driving following force games help knowing team three watching work
To be down there for over three months, watching the games and following everything going on, your driving force is to get back and help the team get to the postseason, ... Doing this tonight, knowing the work I put in, it's great.
