He has so much power, he keeps on moving and grinding those legs. It was beautiful to watch. He just kept on going.
He (Favre) was awesome, I was just honored to be on the same field as him.
Steve has the option of doing a hitch or a takeoff. The safety came down and Steve ran right by the cornerback. I threw it up and Steve did the rest. He's a special player and he showed up again today.
Stephen has unbelievable vision. That's why the lineman love to block for him. If he sees it, he hits it. There's no hesitation. He hits it and goes. Look what he did a couple of years ago. If we can get him back, he makes us a better football team.
Look at Washington: They were so dominant two weeks ago and then they struggled last week. You have to be ready every week. Hopefully, we can be one of the better teams in the N.F.L. But that's easier said than done. If we continue working the way we are and trying to play smart football, hopefully we can be one of those teams. But there's still a lot of season left to be played.
I plan on trying to play if I can. But I don't know how it will react overnight and again tomorrow. I've got to see now if it swells up. But I will take every precaution to get it right.
Hey, I lost that game for us last time. Two picks early and we're down 10-0. It was the opposite of today.
Hey, if the shoe was on the other foot, we'd like nothing more than to keep someone from our division from making the playoffs. That's what it's about. You're trying to win games. We know it's going to be tough. They played five quarters last week and went down to the wire against Tampa Bay, and they're going to come out ready to play against us. We just have to match that intensity and try and do some good things.
That's a place that I do hold close to my heart because when you grow up in Louisiana, your dream is to play in the Superdome, to play in the high school state championships, ... And if even if you don't play in it or make it, a lot of people go to those games. (But) for me, that's just part of it.
Arizona, do they change their whole game plan to be like Green Bay? Green Bay had kind of played that defense somewhat where they would roll to a certain side, ... Arizona is not really that type of team. They are an eight-in-the-box kind of football team. So we'll see what happens. But if that doesn't happen that should help our running game, because that's an extra guy out of the box.
Their front four really create pressure. When you have to throw the football and the defensive line can just pin their ears back and go, it is not a fun day sometimes.
I'm telling you, this guy we have playing for us this week is going to do a great job. He knows what to do. He knows how to do it. Hopefully, the players around him, including myself, can help him have a good game.
Certainly they are good; there's no doubt. We put ourselves in a hole early. I had a couple picks early on, we went down 10-0. We just never got anything going.
I asked him if it was his college number and he said that was No. 17. I told him he should have asked me. I would have given it to him,
