Jake Christopher Delhommeis a former American football quarterback who played professionally in the National Football League. Delhomme played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before being signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent after the 1997 NFL Draft. It wasn't a revenge game or a get-back game, because that was a long time ago. This was just a big win for us.
I really lost vision of the guy and it's on me.
He hasn't lost his vision. That's one thing. He's good. The guy is smooth and knows how to set up blocks. He's a veteran, too. It's fun to watch him run. Hopefully everything works out all right physically, but certainly he looks good so far.
I'm a fan of it. I enjoy watching, and you don't get an opportunity that often. Usually you're playing on Sunday.
In Chicago last week, it was the same thing. It's the whole atmosphere about it, you know there's nobody else but the coaches and the players and that's it, and you've just got to focus in and get it done.
He's special. There's really no other way to put it.
