Last year was tough with a lot of injuries, so this was good that I was able to make an impact, ... I know it comes from all the hard work that I've put in during the preseason.

It was a nice ball by Christian, and I was fortunate to get there. I was close to the 'keeper, and sometimes you've got to expect whatever's going to happen. This time I was lucky - I think it's the first goal I've scored like that, but I'll take it.

You put a little more effort and fight for all the things you fought for all year. You might come out of the game and say, 'Okay, we did all we could.'
