coverage fill gets period racing sure time twice
We need to be here twice a year. If we have the kind of racing that we're having, and if it gets the coverage that I'm sure it will receive, over a period of time we'll be able to fill the stands.
agenda bring contract cup drivers extended garage goal helped hold knowing last matt pleased racing special staying talented trophy
We are very pleased that Matt extended his contract with Roush Racing last fall. Matt is one of the most talented drivers in the garage and he'll always hold a special place in our organization, having helped to bring us our first Cup championship in 2003. It's very assuring knowing that he will be staying on with us and I know that the first goal on his agenda is to take that championship trophy back.
auto cup decision delighted expand nascar race racing series
I am delighted by AAA's decision to expand its auto racing sponsorship through their partnership with Roush Racing for the 2006-2008 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race seasons.
among anxiety behind brought cause create exactly maybe prospects question racing sponsors starting time trying viability
Maybe NASCAR, behind the scenes, is trying to do the same thing, ... They brought it out just at a time when we were starting the Chase. If they wanted to cause distractions to my teams, to create anxiety among my drivers, create a question in my sponsors as to my viability ... and the prospects of Roush Racing going forward, they would do exactly what they have done.
building last mark martin partner racing team
Mark Martin is the man. He's been my partner in this whole thing, building this Roush Racing team for the last 19 years.
business cars charlotte chiefs city crew definitely desperate happened judgments kansas mark martin racing reflected teams trouble
If Roush Racing (or) if Mark Martin can't do his business at Kansas City or Charlotte or Atlanta, then we're in desperate trouble and definitely not on our game, ... What happened here is reflected in that the cars were well-driven, they were well-prepared by hardworking teams and the judgments that the crew chiefs made were excellent.
anybody business cant car coming cup decade driver four full imagine predict racing time win won year
I'm going to say that Carl Edwards -- I predict -- is the driver of the decade for not only Roush Racing but for all of Nextel Cup racing, ... I cant imagine anybody coming into the business in their first full year and being able to win four times, and won in the Busch car for the first time this year.
racing
It's just going to be different because they have a different way of racing than we do.
based carrying certainly gone justified normally otherwise public racing required revolution series technology truck
They've got a different way of racing than what we've normally had. The truck series has gone through a revolution of carrying in technology that otherwise wasn't required and certainly not justified based on the public sponsorships.

additional atlanta david driving enable family forward front gain hometown jump looking run seat start third time truck
Fielding a third truck in Atlanta will enable David to run in front of his hometown crowd, friends and family. It will also gain him some additional seat time in preparation for his stint driving the No. 6. We're looking forward to getting David a jump start on his 2006 schedule.
curve enthusiasm fact focus great hanging last learning likely man needs potential result straight year
Fact is, Carl is a young man of great potential and enthusiasm. He's on a learning curve that's straight up and it'd be more likely he'd have a great result this year than it was him having a great result last year. He doesn't need to focus on not losing, he doesn't need to focus on hanging on, he just needs to go out and do what's natural, which is what got him where he is.
business cyclical downs gonna good guys matt maturity strategy stuck turn ups wait
But Matt stuck with all of his guys and he stuck with the strategy that we had. He's got the maturity to know this is a cyclical business with ups and downs and he was not gonna give up on the good thing he thought he had going when it was down and he was gonna wait for it to turn and it has. He's been right.
bad brian certainly competition conversation days front good interest last nascar otherwise question rest result share stake trying
We've probably had more conversation in the last 10 days than we've had in the last 10 years, and I don't know if that's good or bad for the rest of the competition and for what Brian and/or NASCAR would otherwise be trying to accomplish. But we certainly share an interest and a stake in the result of the question that's in front of us,
