Jack William Nicklaus, nicknamed "The Golden Bear", is a retired American professional golfer. I've said numerous occasions, I think that the potential of the Presidents Cup to be greater than the Ryder Cup is there, simply because the scope is larger. I think there are probably more good players, as it relates to world rankings, than probably if you played the Ryder Cup. I think the Presidents Cup has come of age.
They're going to tinker with it until they get it right. I'm sure they're as frustrated there as I am designing my golf courses ... They're doing the best they can.
It was great for me because it felt like I actually had done something well and I hadn't prepared for it. I hadn't prepared for it like I did 10 years earlier when I would just be consumed by it.

Also, there's nobody on the tour today who could hit the ball as well as Lee Trevino or Ben Hogan.

See, as much as I love the game, golf was my vehicle to competition. And I love to compete.

The design business is a blessing, ... because it has allowed me to stay in a game I love. I'm going to be more selective about the projects I take in the future. I want fewer jobs, but I want to be more involved.
