We're very sympathetic to these kids and the many others that have enrolled here. My goal is to make them feel welcome, give them the opportunity to feel more stable and be a member of this football team. Certainly any coach would be proud to have them.

It's not appropriate (for us) to bother fans no matter what they say. We have to be strong-willed. But if you have your family and kids up there you're not going to worry about the game. (Davis was ejected.) Everyone knows Tony is a man of integrity, but you have to look out for your family. There are a lot of nuts out there.

We are definitely looking for males. We have plenty of girl mentors but males are what we need. There are currently 25 children in the program and about 20 on the waiting list. Half of the kids are boys.

After five months of knowing him and the kind of kid he was, you'd never expect him to do something like this -- ever. It's changed a lot inside me, as far as trusting myself and trusting other people.

Our kids played great. They beat us by 20 first time. It was a game we should have won.

I think it's sad we're having to fix something that just got put in not even a year ago. I am glad they caught it before it made some of our kids sick.
