This was my last tournament of the year and it's a disappointing way to finish. I'll go and have a rest now,

It's a place I absolutely love and adore. I've missed the cut the last couple of years. It would be nice to make the cut and hopefully challenge some way or other.

That's great. He played very well last week. I think Justin has a very good chance of making the team. It would be good for him to get in the team because he is a young lad and could be part of the Ryder Cup for a long time to come as well.

I was doing all right, but I felt another twinge and was only playing with a one-iron the last six holes.

I had a few pairs of Oscar Jacobsen trousers and all of them were a bit Rupert the Bear. Being Welsh I wore a red pair on the last day, and I was going to wear a white shirt, but it had a mark on it, so I wore blue. I knew it didn't go with the green jacket but I didn't care a crap.

I've used it on the putting green a few times. I'm good with it, but I've not done it on the course, not in competition.

I think if the captain can get the team right and get the enthusiasm up and the morale up, then he does play a big role,

It hasn't been too successful that way yet. Maybe I'm too relaxed.

getting to know what a person is like, his character and what sort of game he has. It's a captain's job to get to know these guys a bit more.

If they missed a couple and we holed a couple it would have been a different game, but we couldn't get it together.

If they are good enough to get through regional qualifying and into final qualifying, they deserve to get in,

I didn't ask him about that. We were just trying to play the golf course and concentrate on not letting it beat us up too much.
