good impressed match played season signed situation
We played him in a match situation and he really impressed me. We have signed him to the end of the season so we can have a good look at him.
dig learn results work
We need to learn to dig out results like this and I also want us to work on our away form.
defend hope learn shop shut
We've got to learn to shut up shop like they did and I hope that we can defend like that when we go to Wolves,
answered board club heading meeting questions
But after meeting with the board I'm delighted. I had 10 questions for them and they answered with what I wanted to hear. This club is heading in the right direction.
barrel fell sucking wrong
Right now, everything is going wrong for me - if I fell in a barrel of boobs, I'd come out sucking my thumb!
patient
With everyone else I've got in midfield, I don't think Marcus will be patient enough.
knew money mum running tin
When my mum was running our house, when I was a kid, all the money was put into tins. She knew what was in every tin and I know how much I've got in my tin - that's the way we'll run this club.

across ball block few focusing hope hot kick mastering millions mind people pit skills teach training walk
We are all going to walk across a pit of coals and someone will teach us how to do it. I hope they will because I can't even walk on hot sand. It's all about training you to be a better person. Mastering your mind and focusing on the right things are important skills to have. There are millions of people who can kick a ball around but only a few can do it under pressure. You have to block out everything and focus on the game.
burn easier experience fail family outside reaction stop teach thinking walk willing
When you see the coals, your first reaction is to think 'my God, that's going to burn me', ... If someone can teach you how to put that out of your mind, how can that fail to make you a better footballer? You may not be able to walk afterwards, which is a risk, but it's one we're willing to take. You have to stop thinking about your family or anything else that is going on outside the game. You can get better at it and the more experience you get the easier it becomes.
