Even when a win is ugly, you find satisfaction in it because it's a win. If we were sitting here today at 3-2 after playing that way, I'm sure we'd be feeling a little different.

If the plays aren't coming, somebody will say - John Lynch, Al Wilson, Trevor Pryce, myself - one of the leaders will say, 'Hey, just calm down, we'll get off the field here, just keep on playing hard.'

I'm having a great time playing football. Did the new contract help? Of course. It puts you at peace and allows you to focus on football. But while in Tampa, there were things that just weren't right. And I wasn't comfortable or satisfied with where I was in my career.
