Herman "Herm" Edwards, Jr.is an American football analyst who most recently coached in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs. Since 2009, he has been a pro football analyst for ESPN. He played cornerback for 10 seasonswith the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons. Players respect him because of what he's done, how he's come in here and handled the position we've asked him to take. If anybody can do it, I believe Chad can do it because of his mental toughness and what he feels he has to prove. He's a unique individual, he really is. I mean, he played with that thing torn up those last five or six games (in 2004) and we made the playoffs. If anybody can do it, Chad can do it. I'm pulling for him and I'm praying for him.

Anytime you change offenses on a guy, that's tough, ... Chad doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. He understands what's going on. At the end of the day, he's going to be a very good quarterback in this league. He's going to win a lot. And he's won. He's won a lot of games here already. He's going to get better and we're going to get better as a team. That's my belief.
