athletic both department gotten jobs large needed neglect sure truth
The athletic department has just gotten so large that the two jobs probably needed to be separated. If the truth is known, I'm not sure I didn't neglect some things that needed to be done, probably in both jobs.
anybody good gotten guard man post team trust
We don't have anybody that can guard a person like that in there. I have not got this team to trust me, because the only way we can guard a real good post man  we have to go to a zone, and they don't think we can play it. Consequently, we've never gotten very good at it.
capable energy enthusiasm heart passion
We didn't play with any enthusiasm or energy. We don't have it every night. That comes from heart and a passion for what you're doing. We don't have enough of that right now. We're capable of it, but we're not there right now.

He's just such a great kid. He's just as good as they come. I'm proud of him and the way he's gone over there and played.

He just killed us down there. Every time we'd make a little run, he'd just kick us. He beat us with his quickness. We didn't have anybody that's quick enough to handle him.

(Matthews) is an outstanding true point guard. He'll be the only true point guard we'll have in the program. He's just a smart player. He can push the ball; he makes the right decisions. He can do everything.

I'm worried about him (today) because of that hand. I don't know how much we're going to be able to play him. We might not be able to play him at all.

They made a good run at us. We just simply made shots that they didn't make down the stretch.

It was just a tremendous win in a tough situation against a good basketball team. It's been a long time since I've had a sweeter win than that.

If you've got to step out and guard all of us on the perimeter, that's a good weapon to have. Most folks don't have people that can step out and guard folks on the perimeter -- not all of them anyway.

He's sort of like our Energizer Bunny. He's going all the time. As a matter of fact, it scares me now because I'm playing him too many minutes. I just get scared to take him out.

He struggled a little bit for the simple reason that he hadn't been here. We had to put him in there and let him get relaxed. He started putting pressure on himself, but he seems much more relaxed now than he did before, and he can just put big numbers up there. He's one of those guys that if he gets on a roll, he'll make 'em all.
biggest longer taking took trips
The trips we were taking just took me longer to get back to where I wanted to be. That was the biggest factor.
