We came back on them twice this year. We had them in a hole, but we knew they'd come back. We'd make a run, then they'd make a run. We just couldn't make that final push.
It was not as easy of a decision as some expected it to be.
It was like that for the first six months after 'E.T.' was in cinemas. I'd go out and get mobbed. I was a shy kid, and being approached by adults all the time just freaked me out.
It was a great game, but we had to fight back as usual. We had to play them like we played Plano West (on Tuesday) in the fourth quarter, but for the whole game. And that took away from us.
It was a dogfight all the way through. We made a late run and pulled it out in the end.
We didn't have to in-bound the ball, but we did and got a turnover. Those three's late in the game really hurt us.
Brandon had a monster first half. He helped us get back in it.
At the end of the day, it's a way of taxing large corporations. Small businesses simply couldn't handle that type mandate, but perhaps it is does make more sense for large corporations. There's no easy solution to the nation's health care crisis and everyone is going to have to give some to craft a win-win outcome.
This is such a tough district. We let two (district) games slip by us, but our guys never quit. I'm proud of them for never giving up, and we're still hanging in there.
The money was one of the factors he looked at but in the end the most important thing was the opportunity to win a championship and to have a significant role in that. When it came down to those factors, the Spurs were the best fit.
The substitutions weren't there. I didn't go back to them, and that was a bad call on my part. In the fourth quarter, our players just didn't have the legs because they had been out there for so long.
I grew up there, and it seems like the best place to me - somewhere where you know everything. Where you know where all the roads go.
Of course there have been times I regretted being the kid in 'E.T.' My world went completely crazy. I was that stupid kind of famous, where you can't go anywhere.
She was just talking him down, talking him down.
