Do we still have a government of laws and not of men? Does the law apply to some people with force and ferocity while the powerful are immune? Do we have one set of laws for the officers and another for the enlisted? Should we? These are but a few questions these hearings are intended to explore.

The founding fathers gave the House of Representatives one function when it comes to cleansing the office of the presidency and that is impeachment, .. Whether or not a resolution of censure is appropriate is something beyond our constitutional authority.
I'm just speculating. It's really for them to decide, ... But I think the imposition of a sanction -- I don't want to use punishment, because impeachment isn't punishment, it's a cleansing of the office -- it's really the stage, that stage, the penalty stage is in the Senate, not in the House.
