bit decisions ok played skate
We played an OK first period. But we wanted to skate a little bit more and make the right decisions in their end which we did.
forward last looking losing
It is a different game. I'm looking forward to it. It was disappointing losing (the last two years).
bit control few flying form game nashville ready start took work
I think we took control of the game pretty quick. We made them work in their own end. That made them a little bit tired. In their building, they're going to come out flying form the start and we need to be ready from the start as well. It's going to be a different game tomorrow, for sure. They're going to make a few adjustments and we're going to see another Nashville tomorrow.
game room stay stronger
I think they were a little tired. In the first period, they were able to stay with us, but as the game went on, we got stronger and more room to skate.
europe looked
I think that's one thing that I didn't do (shoot often). In Europe I always looked to pass.
blames chance given win
He given us a chance to win the games. No one blames Manny.
good playing plays
He's playing a lot, and when he plays more often, you can see that he's a really good goalie.
goal goes last shooting
I think I'm shooting a little more than last year. You have to shoot to score. You put it on goal more and it goes in.
confident guys three
I think he had three guys on him, but I was pretty confident I was going to get the pass. He just made an unbelievable play.
looks ready
I think he always looks good. Just have to see if he's ready to go.
good
You kind of see if they were playing, how they did, and it's always good when they lose.
found huge momentum
We found a way to kill that, it was huge momentum for us.
came control game good pace took work
We came out and took control of the game pretty quickly. We made them work in their own end and had a good pace most of the game.
credit gets glad nick night surprised sweden
I'm so glad that it was Nick doing it for Sweden. I'm not surprised because he does it every night in Detroit, but he never gets enough credit back in Sweden for the way he plays.
