It's been a bit of a struggle. I have not been swinging it well and have not been able to place the ball where I want to.

It's a good mix between happy and relief after four days, especially the last two rounds in the strong winds and tough conditions.

At least we should have good greens and less wind in the morning so hopefully it might be easier, but you can never tell. It is kind of hard to prepare for just the one putt.
close event feels finally last title winning won
This is an unbelievable feeling. I was so close to winning this title last year, but couldn't do so. So to have come back and finally won this event feels great.

The weather is cold. But it is a good layout and it is challenging. It is fun and great to play against some of the best players in the world.

I will have a quick look now and again and if I see that nobody else is making a big move I just keep to my own game and just plod along.

bogey club confused few head last late left lost short took trap wrong
I just lost my head completely with my caddy. He confused me on a few things way too late in the process. I went short and left in the trap (on No. 17) and made bogey and probably took the wrong club at the last as well.

I haven't felt like I've been playing great over the last six or seven weeks.

I don't know if it is good or bad to have that one left. At least we should have good greens and less wind in the morning, so hopefully it might be easier but you can never tell. I will spend 10 or 15 minutes on the practice green before hitting the putt. Then I will relax a while before doing it all over again. Tomorrow is another day.

I felt relaxed as it was early in the round and I thought in the conditions that if I could get it going, I would have a fair chance of catching up. I just didn't play well enough. Second is not that bad, but going out with a one-shot lead you always want to win. I've had a few second places now and I'd like to change it for a win, but it's only the first tournament of the year so I'll hopefully get plenty of chances.
