Every time I looked I up I felt like we were down three or down four. We'd get it almost tied and they'd hit a three-point play or something.

We talked about one of the things we needed to do was getting out to a lead. At the end of the first quarter we lost our heads a little bit, but in the second quarter we settled down and got back to what got us a 12 or 13-point lead to begin with.

We just said, 'Let's stack it up, get it in, go 1-4 low and with about 10 seconds left, let's go hard to the hole. And we did. We got what we wanted out of it. The roll I thought was going to go in. She used the board well, but it just rolled out.

We just wanted another opportunity. Know it's just a matter of us taking advantage of that opportunity. There's not too many times in life where you get, almost like, a do-over. Chippewa is the top dog, and we're the underdog. That's fine with us.

Every time they got it within six or eight points, somebody would step up. They really made us work hard, but our defensive effort eventually got us the win.

I was pretty happy with a good solid effort for four quarters. There are things we have to keep working on and keep improving. We could do better on the defensive end but overall I'm happy with their performance.

We needed to do a real good job making it as difficult as possible on their posts getting the ball. Our posts worked like crazy not to let them get the ball inside.

She was great. She has the ability to dribble like she does and either take the ball to the basket, or when someone is in her way, still find the open person under the basket.

She's played with so much confidence throughout the year. With that role comes added pressure and she's dealt with all that knowing that she needs to score 20 points for us to be successful. That's lot for a young lady to handle, but she's done it really, really well.

You have to give Rapids a lot of credit, they took us out of everything we like to do. Early on they were disciplined and did what they wanted and we struggled. I'm proud of the way the girls battled and found a way to win a game we shouldn't have won.

For a lot of the game, we were clawing our way back in. We never gave up. We believed we could win right down to the very end.

It was a great non-conference win for us. We found a way to win on the defensive end even when things were not going out way.

It's a luxury to have that type of player.

We're a pretty tough team to press with a kid like Jamie. If teams are going to press us, we want to attack and make them pay. I thought all our kids made good reads off their press.
