Our shots would not go down and we were down by 10 at the half. In the second half, they were too much for us. They were quicker than us and they had a lot of kids to keep running at us.

(Hawley) has a great ball club. They started four seniors and they're rated third in the section. We came out and played hard and we stayed as close as we could with them. I thought our girls put in a good effort.

It was a great ball game and everybody participated. Pequot is a good ball club and they beat us earlier. This was probably the best game we played all year. I'm proud of the girls ... really proud of them.
