I would have thought an offence against an official would be a greater than something said in the heat of battle between two friends on the ice.

The most damaging bills were defeated. One bill that would have allowed any communication between elected officials to become private was taken out. It required a lot of work among the news media and public interest groups to stop this and all the work paid off.

We just stood around and watched. I'm happy we got the win but I'm disappointed with the effort.

We were prepared for the worst. We are very glad it has been so peaceful, law abiding and low key.

We are very confident heading into conference. We have a goal to win conference and we feel we have a chance to do that.
