It was kind of crazy. I'm getting stepped on, people were grabbing me, it was pretty special. It was the best stepped-on feeling ever.

It was pretty desolate after the fire. The fire burned hot enough to basically clean off the landscape. But the fire moved relatively fast through light, flashy fuels. For that reason, it didn't do a lot of soil damage.

It's nice staying in your own bed, that's for sure, and it's nice having family and friends come out and watch you. But I think, if anything, it can be more of a distraction than anything, with trying to make sure everybody has tickets and things like that. It can be a little hectic.
