There were some times they got after us. They threw a couple of blitzes at us and we had a couple of calls mixed up. Overall, it was pretty ugly.
I totally believe that God has blessed me with the unique ability to know offense, to call offense.
It was awkward at times, especially at first. But I think the reality is they actually saw me with a Razorback on my shirt, and it kind of hit home that, hey, he is over there, he's not at Springdale anymore.
Of course, I was a head coach at high school for 15 years, so as far as on the field stuff it's the same but for college football it's off the field experience you got to get used to. It was a great learning experience for me, I learned a lot and I feel very prepared coming in here.
I came in late, but I got an opportunity to recruit my former players, which was very unique. We feel we finished strong and addressed our needs so we're very excited about this class.
