Every coach is going to tell you that they spend time working on free throws at practice, but we really do. Tonight we were able to make the most of our opportunities and then get the people that we want at the line to the line down the stretch.

I just hope we can continue clicking right now. The night we played Rockwall, everything was clicking and we just need to try to match that every time we take the field.

There were a couple of times when we really needed a play on the defensive end and we just couldn't make it. And it seemed like every time we didn't make a play, they did and that's to their credit.

We're young as far as high school varsity softball, but we're going to be in every game.

We just seem to be snakebit tonight. Anytime we got something going, we had a turnover or penalties. I thought the defense rose up, but we didn't do enough offensively to keep them off the field.

We all have players like that, ... They might not get the publicity that some of the others get, but they're pretty darn important.

I don't get up and think today is going to be 'the' day they find something. I get up every day and think that 'someday' they will find something.

I brought in $25 today. I convinced my parents to let me clean out the basement. It wasn't fun but it was worth it.

I thought our transition game was really good tonight especially in the fourth quarter. Our guards did a really nice job of pushing the basketball up the floor and we are lucky enough to have big guys who run the floor as well as ours do.

Hopefully the state can work out a system soon that more equitably distributes education resources in our state, something desperately needed by low wealth counties like Bladen,
anytime penalty stop
Anytime we got anything going, we got a penalty or turnover to stop ourselves.
clover drives game good great high school teams together wear yards
Clover did a great job. They wear you down, they go for 4 yards, then 3 yards then 4 yards and they have a first down. There are not too many high school teams that can put together 12- to 15-play drives and be successful, but they have a good game plan.
