You win any which way you can. You do what you have to do to get by. That's the way it works in any job.
If I stay healthy and I'm playing good tennis I have as good a chance as anybody.
I'm really looking forward to getting back and winning some matches but I'm not thinking about the U.S. Open yet, just getting through my first match.
Basically, it's just fatigue, ... I've run out of gas a little bit. I've played a lot this summer, and the body's just telling me I'm fatigued.
It's about you. If you win, it's you; if you lose, it's you. Black and white. Nowhere to hide.
He played pretty well, ... The court was a little bit slower and that was advantageous to him. I didn't play as well as I could but I have to give him credit. He played well and that just how tennis goes some days.
He played extremely well. I came with some decent approaches; didn't get to even see a volley. He's very motivated, obviously, and so was I.
greatly enhanced in the company of one of the stunning women met while on the tour.
I know all the people that have been in my situation, and some have gone to the top of the game. Why shouldn't I be able to do that?
I'm really pleased, it was difficult conditions so to win in straight sets is always nice
I know, it's been a while. I'm really pleased to be through. It's been two tough matches.
I have to give him credit. He served fantastically well. Missed three volleys the whole match. I didn't do much wrong. I didn't drop my serve.
I really felt I couldn't get through him at all today and I didn't feel like I played as well as I could.
I have no idea when I'm going to hear the verdict. It's anywhere between three to nine days. So all I can do is sit tight at the moment. I think things went fairly but we'll have to wait and see.
