Graeme McDowell MBEis a professional golfer from Northern Ireland who plays on both the PGA Tour and European Tour. He is well known for winning the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, where he ended a 40-year drought for Europeans at the tournament. You know how frustrated I've been getting for the last month or so. I've been playing good golf but it has been a long time since I did any real scoring. I know I've been well but I've been missing cuts and I know I'm a much better player than that.

I played nicely today but 18 kicked me in the butt a little bit. It's a cruel game and to be honest I'm feeling pretty down right now. It's a really tough hole. I wouldn't say it was unfair but it's out of character with the rest of the golf course which is all laid out in front of you.
