I hope I have that momentum going but this course is different from Mission Hills that it's going to require so many more different game plans, ... I'm glad this is a three-day event, because I have an extra day to rest and recuperate before I begin again, so it will definitely be a plus.
With all the rain we had overnight, the greens were definitely softer, slower. But still rolling very nicely. The conditions were very nice, close to perfect.
I'm looking forward to this year and I'm happy and relieved to get the first round out of the way. Shooting a first score of 66, I'm very happy. I had a little butterflies in my stomach starting off the round. That is why I'm relieved.
They just flat go for it. They're stronger, they've had great coaches and they're not afraid of anything. I'm not that old, but even I need to get some of that attitude back. It's not getting any easier to keep up.
I'm feeling good, ... For the last month or so I've been working very hard. I kept telling myself it's never too late to play well again, and I wanted to finish the season well. I'm glad that it's turning around.
I kept telling myself it's never too late to start playing well. I'm glad I'm turning it around.
I'm very excited to be in the position that I'm in, ... Obviously, I had a sour finish last year but, you know, I'm leading again, and I hope to have a different story at the end of the tournament.
To be honest my back is tight right now. It gets tight every day after a round. I have worked hard with my trainer to strengthen my back, and strengthen the areas that need to be strengthened in order to keep the pain away.
Acting in 'Command & Conquer 3' called for me to interact with the player and to look directly into the camera, which is a big no no when filming for TV or film.
I have had a few chances to play with Michelle, ... I think she is a sweet girl. She is a wonderful player, very strong and got great skills. But to me she is still a 16-year-old. When she talks to me she is like a little sister. We'll have fun playing together.
She brings that much more interest to the game.
Obviously, hard work is what gets them here. And the popularity of golf in Korea. There are a lot of them out here.
I've certainly been very blessed. I can only say that I worked very hard in class and on set doing the best that I can at the moment. I was incredibly blessed with 'Battlestar'... I tried to work my little butt off just to keep up with everybody else and not too many people kicked me.
When I started, I was told that, for all intents and purposes, I was playing a human, which made it easier. Until they told me, 'Grace, you're a Cylon, she wouldn't do that.' And later, I learned that Cylons are actually more human than humans. This has been an ongoing exploration.
