beat feels great shows
It feels real good. To beat Duke, they're a great team. That just shows a lot about our team.
chops excited great guy licking low opportunity trying
He's a great player. He's an All-American. I am trying not to get too excited because a guy like me who is kind of low on the radar, is licking his chops right now because this is an opportunity to show the world that you can play.
felt great shooting thinking time
Most of the time when I'm shooting threes, I'm thinking about it too much. (But) I was in rhythm, and I felt that it was a great shot.
bad ball double falling great shots team took
They did a great job. When I put the ball on the court, they would double team me. I wasn't getting any calls, my shots were not falling and I took some bad shots.
call felt great opportunity shooting shot thinking time
It's called thinking without thinking. That's what I call it. The opportunity was there to make the shot. Most of the time when I'm shooting or when I'm shooting threes, I'm thinking about it too much. So I just was in rhythm, and I felt that it was a great shot and I made it.
accomplish conclusion finished great group grown player prayed
Just to be around this great group of people, I have grown up a lot, thought things out and have prayed about it. I have come to the conclusion that I am not finished yet. There are a lot of things I want to accomplish not only as a player but as a person.
coach collins defensive great ground hand job plan plans ready similar staff
We are going to play him with his hand in the ground at defensive end mostly. We plan to do a lot of different things with him similar to how Auburn plans to use him. He is everything as advertised. Coach Collins and his staff did a great job getting him ready for us.
affect altered best competitor decision environment feeling final four game great grew guy last leave losing mouth people playing road shared taste team terrible winning
The road to the Final Four was a great experience, and I grew up tremendously experiencing that environment and the people I met. As a team we shared the feeling of being there, and playing that last game was a terrible taste in your mouth that you would never forget. Losing like that in that way is going to affect you, and me being the guy that I am - a competitor - you always want to leave out on top. That altered my decision a lot. Because not only do I want to be the best player, but I also want to win. Being there and not winning was a disappointment, and that made me want to come to back.
beat character chemistry feels great proud shows task
I'm just so proud of us, the chemistry that we have. To beat Duke, they're a great team. And that just shows a lot about our team, and what kind of character we have. It feels good, but now it's over. Now it's another task at hand.
alex days defense excellent hustled played three
It was an even contest. They hustled us and got most of our 50/50 balls. We just played a little lackadaisical from three days off. We did have excellent defense from Alex Seifert and Carl Tesch.
business care good home kid raven sick since taking week
Raven has been a good kid since he got here. I could tell he was a little home sick the first week or two he was here, but I think he is over all that. We have been on him about taking care of business in the classroom. He has done everything we have asked.
line time
Every time I'm on the free-throw line now, I think about Kentucky, and that situation.
amazed imagine tall
The tall guy, I was amazed at how tall he was. He's so tall. Imagine if I had that height.
feeling good motivation people
I wanted to give a shout-out to the people of Louisiana. I wanted to give them some motivation ... give them a good feeling about their state.
