We've got to go onto districts and win on the road. I think we can win our last two games, but they're at home. We've got to play better on the road. We were not ready to play....I'm disappointed by the way we played on the road.

Our kids have to deal with another loss, and that's the difficult part. I'm trying to tell them how good they are, how good they can be, and that they can reach their goals this year. I believe they still can.

Ultimately, intimacy is more fulfilling than accomplishments. High achievers have an empty spiritual life. I think God made us so that our greatest joy is found in relationship.

We're very thankful that we didn't have any more injuries or deaths than we had. But we're still stunned.

These seniors...they're great kids. I hope they don't give up on their coach...It's been a joy to coach them. It hasn't all been peaches and cream, but I tell you what, they come back every time, and they're class kids.
anybody ask breaks great kids proud putting team
I'm proud of our kids, and it was a great effort. I just don't think this team is getting any breaks right now. These kids are putting in all the effort, and I couldn't ask for anything more. I couldn't ask for anybody to play any better, they're just not getting any breaks right now.
critical guys hope people watch worry
I'm not being critical of my guys. We've got to worry about ourselves. I hope people come out and watch these guys play.
control destiny freedom hour mean people rush sitting stuck understand
Being in control of your own destiny doesn't mean a lot when you are sitting on a freeway, stuck in rush hour traffic. A lot of people have come to understand (light rail) is freedom.
enjoyed group kids satisfied season
I've never had a season like this ... but I've never been this satisfied with a group of kids. I've never had a season where I've enjoyed a group of kids more.
