deal gas hit hopefully lights mike problem thats time weather win
We just deal with the weather as it comes. Theres nothing we can do about it, so Im not one to play much into it, Scelzi said. Thats all Mike Neffs problem, its not my problem. My problem is to hit the gas on time and keep it in the groove, and hopefully the win lights will come on.
beat chiefs crew emotion emotions good great hired hood level mike run schumacher wants work
Mike has just been so good from the beginning. When I first started with Schumacher, that's who I wanted. I didn't know if I was going to get hired or not, but I told Don Schumacher that if I had a choice, I wanted to work with Mike Neff because he's such a level guy. He doesn't show his emotion a lot. Sometimes we have to beat him up to get him to beat on the hood and get me jacked up. All these great crew chiefs like my crew chief because he doesn't get excited. He doesn't brag, he doesn't get in anybody's face. He just wants to run with them.
bump choice critical guess heard lane left normally race
The right lane has a pretty big bump in it. Historically, it's been a one-lane race track, normally the left lane. So, I don't know if they've made any improvements or not. I haven't heard anything, but I guess we'll find out. Lane choice is critical here.
bonus
The rev limiter is going to put a damper on those 20 bonus points,
bring changing start time
Bring it on. It's time to start changing things around.
chance conditions gave giving hold late learn perfect racetrack run running tomorrow tonight
Running late tonight gave us a chance to run in perfect conditions, ... I know we won't have conditions like this tomorrow but we did learn that this racetrack can hold a lot more than we've been giving it.
cranky good hired john seems
John seems to be getting a little more cranky as this thing tightens up, ... I told him it's his own fault. If he hadn't hired two such good drivers, we wouldn't be having this problem.
cars command funny
It is exciting. One, because it's Funny Car, and, two, to dethrone any one of Force's cars that have had such a command on the Funny Car championship over the years is a big thing.

air anybody break case chasing clean dominating fifth four holding john jumps loaded nobody playing rabbit races robert round six somebody sooner three throw whose
Somebody is going to have to break away sooner or later, but anybody can throw anybody off here, and that's been the case over the years, but now they're not playing favorites. They're mowing me off, they're mowing John (Force) off, Robert (Hight) got sawed off the first round of Sonoma. You don't know whose going to do it; who's holding the loaded gun. Nobody can break away and get the clean air and get away from everybody. It could still happen, but right now one through four is right there, and even fifth place is right there. With six races left, the whole idea is if somebody jumps up with three in a row, now we're the ones chasing the rabbit ... There's no dominating anywhere.
affect guys learned meant run
My guys are real hungry, ... We know we can't make mistakes. (But) we can't let (the chase) affect what we do. You just have to run it (the car) the way you would run it, like it doesn't matter. Otherwise, you will make mistakes. I've learned that if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.
showing start
Well, you better start showing it, that's all I can say.
